Construction on WellStar KennestoneHospital’s new ED continues with a finish date targeted for mid-2020. This trauma center will accommodate up to 185,000 patients in the initial phase and up to 220,000 annually upon completion, making it one of the largest EDs in the country. Huddy HealthCare has been involved over the past 5 years as an ED design consultant starting with early operational redesign and concept planning back in 2014. Huddy HealthCare continues to serve as a consultant during construction and we are very excited to see this four-level facility rise out of the ground and towards the sky!
